Omnia vincit terror
Chava is visiting for the weekend; probably not the best weekend for Boston travel due to the weather and the heightened security, but all should be fine. Seeing a police officer armed with a submachine gun at the Airport station yesterday was not a surprise.
Traveling on the red line yesterday, I saw a girl with an ankle tattoo. It looked like Latin, so I peered harder to see if I could decipher the cursive script, and then to validate what my eyes were seeing. She noticed me on my third peek, and blushed a little bit. Omina vinct amor, read her ankle. I wonder if she knows.

Okay, are you going to tell us knuckleheads what it means?

Omnia vincit amor translates to “Love conquers all.” Omina vinct amor is a misspelled version of that, but omina becomes “omens”, so it could also read “Love conquers omens,” which is actually pretty neat.
